The SRX-6 was the ultimate evolution of Yamaha’s big single program. When they went to 600cc, the engine now had a counterbalancing system to smooth things out. The carburetor was a two-stage affair. With its triple disc set-up and light weight, it was indeed a sporty combination. In the U.S. market, big tended to sell better. Their completion was from other Japanese multis.
