The Suzuki 450 series arose as a direct answer to Honda’s CM 400/450 bikes. Both manufacturers also had produced an automatic transmission model too. With their seat cowling and sleek tank design they were known as “Euro styling". Some were available with a sleek quarter or café style fairing. There were a lot of them sold in the U.S., but in the '90s when Japan changed their tax code on motorcycles from 400cc to 450cc, a great many got exported back to Japan. Consequently, it is rare to find a nice clean example like this still in the USA. This unit is in nice original condition, with the exception of some deterioration of the side covers.10,783 miles indicated.
