Just when the insurance companies thought they could give their motorcycle actuarial tables a rest, out came the H-2! This meant a 750cc triple cylinder two-stroke that was even faster. Engine displacement was increased by 50%! It would now do the quarter mile in 12 seconds. This further eroded the British hold on the market. It was fitted with a single disc brake, but a second disc was available as an option. It was also blessed with slightly better handling characteristics. At the same time, Kawasaki released the H-2R for road racing with a new generation of skilled riders such as Yvon Duhamel, Cliff Carr, and Paul Smart. This unit has perfect original paint and a totally stock exhaust system. The odometer indicates 8,632 miles.
