JC Higgins bicycles were made in the U.S. and sold through Sears. Then and now, a very popular bike. Every kid wanted to upgrade their bike to be “like a motorcycle". Numerous kits were on the market after WWII. This one has the “Moto-Cycle“ conversion. The rear wheel was removed, and the sub-assembly installed. The rider then pedaled which, in turn, turned the engine over. This example even sports the original decals.
