This is a rather unique child's riding toy from England, it features a horse made of pressed steel, painted white with black markings, and a unique frame with seat. A child rides on the single seat with a wood platform, press steel backing and metal side bars, and uses their feet in stirrup like devices to propel the cart forward. As the cart rolls, the legs of the horse move forward and backward; steering is accomplished by pulling on the leather reins which are attached to the front wheel via a steering post. Well-constructed from the 1920s era, tail is made from real horsehair. 38" L x 16" W x 25" H.
