This is a very well-built toy tractor from an unknown manufacturer. The firebox, boiler and front stack are cast iron as are the spoked wheels. When the tractor is pushed forward, a spring-belt drive rotates a shaft connected to a cam that drives a piston forward and backward in a cylinder. A set of handle bars turns the front wheels as the child sits on the pressed steel roof. Beautifully crafted, this is really a cut above all other tractor toys from the 1920s. 15" L x 6" W x 12" H.
