Harley-DavidsonMC-65ShortsterOffered Without Reserve
By the early 1970s, Harley-Davidson had controlling interest in Italian manufacturer Aermacchi, which allowed the American company to offer a wide range of motorcycles and motorbikes to meet the Japanese competition. The MC-65 Shortster was a one-year-only model and used the two-stroke single-cylinder 64cc engine already in America with the Leggero. More sophisticated than other minibikes of the day, the Shortster was street legal with a solid backbone style frame, hydraulic suspension, proper lighting including license plate mount, gauges, and a braced handlebar. The Shortster featured a polished stainless-steel front fender, dual seat, upswept exhaust, and big bike grips. It was offered in exciting colors and retailed for just a little over $300 new. This example shows just 1,439 miles, believed to be from new. It is dark blue metallic with vibrant fluorescent red appliques. The tank does show some scratches and nicks and the general overall appearance is one that needs cleaning and detailing. It is riding on the original Pirelli 3.00 x 10 tires and shows no modifications, even retaining its original owner's manual. 56" L x 31" W x 38" H (at the handlebars). LOCAL PICKUP ONLY!

Kit Mfg.Teardrop TrailerOffered Without Reserve
The Kit Mfg. Co. of Norwalk, California was created by C. W. "Bill" Worman and Dan Pocapalia who worked at Vultee Aircraft during WWII. They began building teardrop trailers of their own design in both kit-built form. Their trailers used surplus bomber aluminum skins and 15" Jeep wheels that had been salvaged off sunken ships. This delightful little trailer is one of their first products with a build date of January 8, 1947 and carries serial number S2297. It has an aluminum exterior formed over a wooden substructure mounted on an angle iron frame, the outside has a light coating of oxidization but no signs of rust or corrosion. It is fitted with two doors for easy access with interior walls of dark stained and varnished wood. The louvered rear panel lifts to reveal a cozy kitchen area and comes with a Coleman stove and other utensils. The fenders are stylish fiberglass replacements painted argent to blend with the exterior finish of the body and is riding on a set of Michelin-X 15" tires with vintage Atlas "Port-A-Wal" whitewalls and spun aluminum disc wheel covers. SimplexAutomatic Motorcyclewith Tecumseh EngineOffered Without Reserve
The Simplex Automatic motorcycle was produced by Simplex Servi-Cycle headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana and founded by Joseph P. Treen. It was the largest motorcycle builder ever in America's deep south. In 1953, the Simplex Automatic was introduced which employed a variable clutch drive which would tighten up the drive belt and off you went. Originally powered by a two-cycle 125cc single-cylinder engine it was a popular economical motorbike for its day. The company closed its doors in 1960 when Mr. Treen decided to retire. This example appears to be from the mid-1950s. The original engine has been replaced with a 6-HP, 195cc single-cylinder four-cycle Briggs & Stratton engine from 2006. It is connected to a variable clutch drive system similar to the original factory unit and powers the rear wheel via a drive belt. The motorbike has not been started or tested. The aftermarket Stewart-Warner odometer currently shows 260 miles; however, true miles are unknown. No serial or chassis numbers have been found, which our research shows was not uncommon for Simplex motorcycles. The engine serial number is 71183D. Dimensions are 69" L x 26.5" W x 38" H. Sold on Bill of Sale only. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY!

MustangStallion Model 8MotorcycleOffered Without Reserve
Mustang Motorcycles were produced between 1947 and 1965 and were mildly successful in the booming post-war years. Produced by Gladden Products, Glendale, California, which had been kept busy during World War II manufacturing components for several aircraft, developed this little motorbike as a way to stay in business. Many feel that the Mustang name was selected as a tribute to the fabulous P51 Mustang fighters that the company had been supplying components for. Early models were eagerly snapped up by the general public and as demand grew, so did amenities, like easier handling, easier shifting, and more horsepower. Mustangs were well-engineered, and with the Stallion, a true performance machine was created. Powered by the Mustang MC-75 engine, it is a single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 19.5 cubic-inches and rated at 9.5-HP, backed by a Burman four-speed manual transmission. The example appears to have been given a thorough restoration and is quite well-appointed with a pair of black leather saddle bags attached to the chrome rack. Presented with a gloss black frame, silver and black fuel tank with an original Mustang speedometer/odometer mounted to the handlebars which shows 2,750 miles; however, true miles are unknown. While we have not started or tested this ride, it appears to be quite roadworthy and will benefit from a simple awakening before hitting the road. Dimensions are 59" L x 28" W x 41" H. Sold on Bill of Sale only. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY!

Early Passenger Plane Movie Prop Model in Style of StoutOffered Without Reserve
This is a very unique model plane. Hand built with metal construction it is similar to the Ford-Stout Tri-Motor with only a center engine. This model had details not seen on a toy such as exposed control wires, detailed radial engine and seats in the cockpit. It was originally fitted with running lights on both wings plus a light to illuminate the interior of the cockpit. Its construction leads us to believe this may have been a contemporary film prop from the early 1930s. It is showing wear and the seams are exhibiting cracks, but the basic structure of the plane is rather solid. This could be a lost treasure from the golden age of cinema. 50" wingspan, 35" fuselage, 10.5" high.

1932 Turner Lincoln Panel Delivery PrototypeOffered Without Reserve
Turner was a leader in the world of quality pressed steel toys in the late 1920s and early 1930s. One of their best-selling toys was the Lincoln Sedan from the early 1930s. Just like real cars, toy makers are always looking for new models and ideas and this Panel Delivery was one idea that the designers at Turner developed but did not take to production. The hood, fenders, chassis, and cowl of this model were fashioned from the production Lincoln sedan; the rear end of this truck is hand-fabricated and assembled. It features a working rear door, front seat and what appears to be a handcrafted six-spoke steering wheel. The factory fit and finish is good but not perfect. It does have headlight buckets and hood ornament but does not appear to have ever had a bumper fitted to the front or rear of this vehicle. Our consignor located this unique toy at a swap meet and was told it had been secreted out of the factory and passed down a couple of generations before being offered for sale. This is truly a rare opportunity to own one of the most desirable pieces of toy making history, an actual full-size prototype toy vehicle. It is presented in bare metal with a minimum of patina. The rear door lines up and fits tightly. There are several tooling marks on the exterior panels and fenders, most likely made when this body was being fitted to the chassis. This Panel Delivery will be the centerpiece for any dedicated toy collector. 26.5" L x 8.5" W x 11" H.

Two Movie World Hand-Painted Signs by Von DutchOffered Without Reserve
Kenny "Von Dutch" Howard was an American original who made a name for himself in the 1950s with his wild pinstriping, flying eyeballs and other creations in the same ranks as Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. The mid-1970s found Von Dutch at a low point when his old friend Ed Roth talked the Movie World's Cars of the Star Exhibit in Buena Park to hire him on as a painter. It was while he was there that actor Steve McQueen became friends with Von Dutch and invited him to come live at his airport facility near Santa Barbara. These two signs were created when Movie World started up a collector car auction company. These are the original signs created for the auction house by Von Dutch and have been in the possession of the former auction manager since the late 1970s. Both signs are freehand and show off the artist's talents. Both have some warping and paint loss on the edges and should be handled with care. Accompanied by Letter of Authenticity. The "Office" sign is 44" x 28", the "Cashier" sign is 26" x 12", lot of 2.

Original Silver Arrow Rendering by Car Designer Philip O. WrightOffered Without Reserve
One of America's most talented automotive stylists of the Classic Car era was Philip O. Wright. His career in automotive design started with the Walter M. Murphy Company in Pasadena, California where he lent his talents to create a one-off Cord L29 for actress Delores Del Rio. During a chance meeting with Roy Faulkner, then President of the Cord Corporation, he was talked into joining the Cord design team where he designed the superb L29 Speedster among other vehicles. When Faulkner made his move to Pierce-Arrow, Phil Wright joined him and was responsible for some major updating of their entire line, but his crowning achievement was designing the fabulous Silver Arrow sedans created for the Chicago Century of Progress Exhibition. This is an original rendering of the Pierce-Arrow Silver Arrow sedan commissioned by our consignor directly from Mr. Wright in the early 1970s. It is one of a series of drawings Mr. Wright did, it is multimedia on paper, matted and signed in the lower right-hand corner. Some age staining on matting. Image 19.5" x 6.5". Matting 23" x 11".

Using white ink and gouache on black paper, this is the ultimate in classic car design. This stunning car was part of a group of drawings commissioned by our consignor in the early 1970s. Two Original Drawings 1935 and 1936 Fords by Designer Philip O. WrightOffered Without Reserve
Philip O. Wright enjoyed his tenure at Pierce-Arrow even if it meant spending time in South Bend, Indiana working with Studebaker. Upon returning to Buffalo in early 1932, he told his boss Roy Faulkner that he would stay as long as he could. A few days later, Pierce-Arrow shut its doors and Wright was off to Detroit where he connected first with John Tjaarda and worked on the development of the Lincoln Zephyr. Later he transferred to LeBaron where he worked with Ralph Roberts and helped to design the 1935 and later the 1936 Fords. The first painting by Mr. Wright is of the 1935 Ford Deluxe Phaeton with its top in the up position, and the 1936 Ford Deluxe Roadster, also top-up and of which Mr. Wright said in an interview, he preferred over the two. Both drawings are ink and gouache on gray mottled paper and are matted and signed in the lower right-hand corner. Close observation will reveal the pinhole in the center of the wheels to create perfectly round wheels and tires. Both drawings, Image 17" x 7", Matting 21" x 11", lot of 2.

NASCAR 50 GreatestOffered Without Reserve
In 1998, NASCAR commemorated its 50th anniversary by recognizing the sport’s “50 Greatest Drivers” at a gala fete at the Daytona 500. Few predicted from its start on the dusty dirt ovals of Dixie that NASCAR would burgeon into a legitimate force on the American sports scene. But excel it did, even as these drivers accelerated behind the wheel. A group of independent NASCAR-affiliated individuals selected these top 50 drivers. Once the honorees were identified, this limited-edition lithograph, of which only 250 exist, was produced by Press Pass. During pre-race festivities at the ’98 Daytona 500, the 34 then-living drivers signed the lithograph. The 34 signatures are Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt, Dale Jarrett, AJ Foyt, Rusty Wallace, Glen Wood, Bobby Allison, Jerry Cook, Jeff Gordon, Ricky Rudd, Lee Petty, Jack Ingram, Buck Baker, Ernie Irvan, Buddy Baker, Geoff Bodine, Ned Jarrett, Junior Johnson, Herb Thomas, Terry Labonte, Fred Lorenzen, Darrell Waltrip, Mark Martin, Red Farmer, Hershel McGriff, Rex White, Tim Flock, Cotton Owens, Marvin Panch, Cale Yarborough, Harry Gant, Benny Parsons and David Pearson. Owning a Harley-Davidson Road King is an experience every enthusiast should undergo. Yes, some might call it owning a Grandpa bike, but they don’t understand - until you ride one like this pristine 2001 Road King, you have no idea how easy and comfortable cycling can be. For over 100 years, Harley-Davidson has changed with the times, and kept their motorcycles relevant with outstanding models like the EL Knucklehead, the FL Hydra-Glide, and the XL Sportster leading the way for decades. Head to any big biker event, however, and you’ll see more customized Road Kings than anything else. The Road King is the Harley-Davidson touring bike that features the bold good looks of a big, custom boulevard cruiser. With a low seat height, heritage-rich styling, and big fiberglass saddlebags, it’s a strong statement rolling up into your driveway - one that everyone will certainly notice. The Road King’s steep 26-degree rake gives it a classic bike feel at speed, yet the low seat height allows easy parking and handling. Most enthusiasts feel it’s the best balanced, easiest to ride scooter that Harley has put out for many years. This outstanding Road King presents today with just 900 actual miles from new - enough to know that its single-owner has taken exceptional care of the bike - and few enough to know that it’s just barely broken in. It was ordered as the top-of-the-line Classic package including the wire-laced wheels, fat whitewall tires, and gorgeous leather-wrapped hard saddlebags. Of course, the traditional tank-mounted speedometer is here, with a detachable windscreen, foot boards, and lots of chrome. At the heart of the Road King is the Twin Cam 88 engine, which is isolation-mounted in the HD touring frame for comfortable highway-speed riding. It’s a traditional Harley four stroke, 45-degree V-Twin with overhead valves and self-adjusting hydraulic lifters, all fed by 38 mm throttle bore electronic sequential port fuel injection. Needless to say, a one-owner bike with just 900 miles and the coveted Classic package, make this loud, powerful, machine the right one to own and an absolute blast to ride.
• Just 900 miles from new
• Top-of-the-line Classic package
• One-owner cruiser in meticulous condition
• Ready for any Harley Tour or group rides
Fiat600'Sliding Roof' CoupeOffered Without Reserve
633cc OHV inline four-cylinder engine, 30 HP at 4,500 RPM, four-speed manual gearbox, four-wheel independent suspension, four-wheel drum brakes; wheelbase: 78”
Italy needed a small, efficient, and affordable car for the masses after World War II, and the Fiat 500, and later the 600, certainly fit the bill. Patterned after the Volkswagen Beetle and the Citroen 4CV, it was easy to produce and able to transport four easily and six with difficulty. The 600 Coupe soon became their most popular model, after being introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1955 and, eventually, nearly 2.7 million examples were produced. With the engine behind the rear seats driving the rear wheels, it was simple to build, own, and maintain. They are credited with putting the entire Italian nation on wheels, much the way Volkswagen did for Germany in the ‘50s, and Henry Ford did for the U.S. in 1908 with the Model T. The beautiful 600 Coupe offered here is a fresh cosmetically restored example. It sports the desirable sliding fabric roof in great condition, and new interior, chrome and trim. The unique reverse-opening doors fit well, and it’s obvious this car was restored by a skilled craftsman. It features five new radial tires mounted on factory rims with the factory hubcaps, and the entire car presents accurately and is ready to be shown or simply cruised around town. Step inside and the first thing you’ll notice is the new tan and cream upholstery and door panels, making for a clean and accurate – and surprisingly plush - interior. The singular gauge cluster, all of the trim bits, and the plush carpets are presented quite nicely, including the front trunk area. It’s an amazingly roomy small car, a testament to the innovative designers at Fiat. Pop the rear hood, and you’ll enjoy showing off a clean and very correct engine bay, and the four-cylinder starts easily and runs out with authority. The desirable 600 boasts just a little extra power that gives the zippy feel you crave in a microcar. It’s simply a fun car and one that always turns heads and gets a ton of attention whenever it is being enjoyed.
• Freshly finished with all new paint and interior
• Desirable 600 Coupe with factory sliding roof
• Guaranteed high-return on smiles-per-gallon
• Surprising room in a desirable classic microcar
