Rod Egan
Principal and Chief Auctioneer

Rod has managed some of the largest auctions and collections in North America and held senior positions at a number of the world's leading auction houses. Having sold over $3 billion of assets over the past 25 years, both privately and at auction, he is among an elite group of auctioneers to have overseen major asset transfers at that level. Rod specializes in the valuation of fine automobiles and is always accessible to collectors, also overseeing Worldwide's private sales division. An avid collector himself, Rod has an extensive knowledge of pre-war European and American classics and sports cars. When not on the auction podium you will often find him enjoying Concours and club events, road rallies and tours throughout North America and Europe.

John Kruse
Principal and Auctioneer

John grew up in the auction industry, refining his skills at some of the biggest auction companies in the country. As buyer, seller, consultant and auctioneer, he has been actively involved with vintage motorcars and collection management for his entire life, combining an exhaustive knowledge of the market with unyielding integrity and a hands-on commitment to delivering the best result. Expert and accessible, he is a passionate car enthusiast who is a familiar face at Concours, club events and shows across the country.

Andrew Betzing
Director of Client Services

Andrew brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise, with well over a decade of highly respected collector car auction experience. He has been in the auto industry his entire life and has a passion for helping buyers and sellers reach their goals in the collector car market. He and his family, (Kim, Garett & Landon), regularly attend and participate in events in the Pacific Northwest, a location that is filled with wonderful enthusiasts and their great cars. He believes in strong customer service and in building long term, enjoyable relationships with clients.

These experiences have prepared him to help build the Worldwide Auctioneers' team into the industry leader. He is looking forward to sharing his experience and passion with you and is looking forward to helping out in any way possible.

Charlie Kuhn
Senior Specialist

Charlie bought his first car - a 1951 Willys - at 15 years of age (his driver's license wouldn't arrive for 18 months) and has been hooked ever since. He has been active in the hobby for several decades and has been involved in the collector car industry for many years. Charlie is the past-president (2004-2007) of the Specialty Vehicle Dealers Association and is active in his community by serving on several Boards. As a respected collector and dealership owner in the Chicago area for decades, Charlie has a wealth of expertise and experience with American classics, sports cars, and period hot rods and customs. When not tinkering with cars, Charlie can be seen coaching youth baseball, serving as a Cub Scout leader and participating as an enthusiastic spectator at his children's sporting events.

Nick Smith

Nick Smith joined our team as a Specialist bringing a long and varied career's worth of experience in exotic and luxury, classic and vintage cars. With a career that started in London at the age of three with toy cars from Dinky and Matchbox, Nick eventually graduated to a proper professional position in the motorcar field in sales at purveyors of the most incredible classic and exotic automobiles, Symbolic Motors. Initially in Beverly Hills, he was quickly promoted to the Bentley Sales manager at their La Jolla showroom. Strong successes and great experience in both new exotics and classic and vintage motorcars, led to an offer to join the Bentley's flagship dealership as the Bentley and Lamborghini Sales Manager in Beverly Hills, enjoying sales of these franchises plus Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin and Bugatti.

In 2007, Smith's desire to explore a different facet of the industry led him to Bonhams Auctioneers. As a Specialist, he played a key role in the Motorcar Department's successes with sales at Quail Lodge in Carmel, CA for the famed Monterey Classic week of Concours d'Elegance, motor racing and auction events, as well as sales at Concours d'Elegances in Amelia Island, Florida, Greenwich, CT, Los Angeles' Petersen Museum Sale, and the Larz Anderson Museum Sale, Brookline, MA.

Janet Griffin
Executive Assistant

As executive assistant to the managing partners, Janet joined the Worldwide team with extensive administrative experience, having held positions in the fields of commercial real estate, IT and corporate accounting. She looks forward to auctions, appreciates interaction with clients and assists in the day to day support of VIP clientele at Worldwide headquarters.

Tammy Watson
Administrative Assistant

As administrative assistant, Tammy is involved in the smooth running of the day-to-day business, from administering vehicle consignments to handling contracts, scheduling photography and helping amalgamate content for Worldwide's signature catalogues, as well as assisting with all concierge services.

Stuart Schlaifer
Automotive Logistics

Stuart, along with a team of security personnel, mechanics and detailers, is responsible for overseeing and caring for your vehicle from the moment it arrives on-site at one of our auctions. Knowledgeable in all makes and models of vehicles, Stuart will ensure that your car is handled with the upmost care.

John Aguillard
Operations & Advertising

John is a familiar face at Worldwide sales, having headed up operations and logistics for many years, ensuring that all our auctions and associated events run smoothly. As a veteran of Texas advertising agencies and graphic design studios he also oversees Worldwide's advertising and media division and the global, national and regional promotion of the company's events and consignments.

A 1980 graduate of St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX, John continues to be actively involved in the American Advertising Federation. He was a member of the AAF's National ADDY® Standardization committee (now the American Advertising Awards) for over six years, also serving as two-time Chairman of the Board and President of AAF - San Antonio. He has participated in and served as chair of almost every committee at both the local and district levels and was recently was honored with a lifetime membership by the board of AAF - San Antonio and currently sits on the National Advertising Review Board located in New York City.

Troy Lefevra
Graphics Department Manager

Troy is a graduate of Indiana State, with a Bachelors degree in graphic design and is former All-American college football player. With over ten years design experience across a range of media, he is responsible for the creative execution of Worldwide's print and digital marketing material, including advertisements, auction catalogues and online presence. In his spare time, he is a committed athlete and outdoorsman.

Jo Snyder
Media Department

Jo is British and worked at one of the UK’s most dynamic publishers in London, managing large editorial, sales and marketing teams on some of the world’s biggest motoring and motor racing media brands. Today she oversees Worldwide’s PR efforts, with responsibility for ensuring that the company and all its events and individual consignments get maximum tailored exposure across global to regional media, in all formats. Jo is married to a well-known Texas car restorer so is also heavily involved in the wider classic car community and a familiar face at concours and automotive events.
