Many changes and improvements came to the 1941 Fords which introduced the Super Deluxe to the model lineup. The introduction not only made a significant impact on the new model but also the overall appearance of the company. Lead by E.T. Gregorie and his design team, the changes were seen across all models and even its mid-level luxury brand partner, Mercury, saw design changes. The first thing to go was the pointed front end that had been in Ford’s production since the mid-1930s. It was replaced with a more curved and smoothed out front end and a striking upside-down chrome T shape grille. Also redesigned and improved for 1941, was Ford's wheelbase which was stretched two inches to 114 inches and the frame was replaced with a stronger and larger X-member.

Brilliantly restored back to its original appearance comes this 1941 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible that is finished in a classic Ford Black. Its style is unmatched with its elegant all new designed front end and shiny chrome grille, which is accompanied by dealer option amber fog lights, center grille guard with blue Ford script lettering and bumper end guards. The black power convertible top features red piping that matches the chrome wheels red accents.

The interior, with seating for five, is finished in a red leather upholstery with period correct door panels and carpet. The ‘41 Super Deluxe models were equipped with an all-new dash design which consisted of Kelobra grain wood with plastic inserts that house the instrument panels. Other equipment includes a Super Deluxe steering wheel with the column mounted three-speed manual transmission shifter, Ford script safety glass and a triple-door heater unit under the dash.

Loved by almost everyone for their easy maintenance and thrilling early Ford V-8 power, the Flathead V-8 engine has been restored and cosmetically brought back to show condition. Brilliantly presented and well cared for while in the collection, this rare Super Deluxe Convertible is guaranteed to make an impression on and off the field.
