Honda only sold these in the U.S. for two years. They incorporated many functions only seen in their earlier Grand Prix bikes. Instead of chains driving the cams, stacked gears were used as Honda had done on their early race bikes. These bikes were also quite popular for endurance racing in Europe. The 1,000cc water-cooled V-Twin was a continuation of the same engine platform launched several years earlier with their V-45 series. They only came in Honda’s red, white, and blue livery. There were headlight differences between 1985 and 1986 models. Some consider this one of the ultimate sports touring bikes. Paint is in very good condition and the mileage is 19,918.
