Nothing conveys power and prestige more clearly than a Packard. For over five decades, the Packard name was a hallmark of luxury as they built cars for kings, queens, and every other echelon of society’s finest. If one’s arrival at a social event had to be noticed, there was no better way than to arrive in one of Packard’s opulent limousines, sporty roadsters, or grand phaetons.

This lovely Packard is presented as a highly-original car with the exception of an older repaint, front seat coverings, and partial cosmetic fixes which are expected. Acquired by The Rockhound Collection in 2018, its cosmetics have been untouched, and its mechanics have been regularly maintained. The dark green body with black fenders and ivory canvas top all present nicely considering its age. To finish its subtle appearance and still make a statement while passing on the road, this Packard Six Roadster is equipped with color-coordinated disc wheels and blackwall tires. While trips to and from the country club are made easier with its built-in golf club door, rear passengers are treated to open-air comfort as a rumble seat can be found between the main cabin and luggage trunk. Other exterior options include a driver's side spotlight, rear trunk rack with an accessory trunk, dual cowl lights and side-mounted spare tires.

Power comes from Packard’s tried and proven 289-cubic-inch L-head inline six-cylinder engine, which had already been popular for almost a decade and produces 82 horsepower. The engine is neat and clean with just a hint of patina, which is to be expected, being largely original.

Recognized by the Classic Car Club of America as a Full Classic®, this largely original Packard is eligible for all CCCA gatherings and events. Smart looking and one that can speak to almost anyone it drives by, this well-accessorized Packard, accompanied by its original Packard body tag, offers its next owner many more memories to be made at events or on the road with its top down.
