The Ascot 500cc single-cylinder, with its combined seat and tank and integrated “number plate", was designed as a tribute to Ascot, the famous track in Southern California. Singles have always had a reputation for hand numbing vibration. Honda installed counter balancers to smooth out the engine pulses. 8.5 compression ratio with dual plug ignition made for a tractable street bike. Honda also shared this engine with some of their successful dual sport bikes. There are minor scratches on the side covers. 2,100 miles indicated.
