This luxury one-of-one historically significant automobile has been known in the East Coast Pierce-Arrow Society since the 1970's. Documented by Bernard Weis, the Pierce-Arrow Society's editor and publisher from 1963 until 2005. It is one of only 47 840 Coupes produced being #47; the last produced. Just seven are known to still exist with being the best by far. Further, it is the only produced with a rear-mounted spare stunningly encased in a metal cover revealing the uninterupted dramatic lines and sweeping curves of the body. It rides on a 139" wheelbase powered by a massive 6.3 liter engine. The car was recently refreshed by renown Piperce expert Pat Craig, who owns and maintains the largest collection of earlier Pierce-arrow automobiles in the world. In 2017 it was invited to participate in the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Following its successful tour and showing, it was invited to the Ironstone Concours where it was awarded Best in Class.
